SpareBit Spirits

This is the first puppet I made. It was a quick puppet, made of steel wire, foam and tape. The head is foam and the eyebrows are jute rope. I found the puppet very expressive. The lesson I learned here was that making the puppet have some kind of emotion or intention in its existence does a lot towards helping with the animation. I was pretty green with stop motion at this point and my puppet helped to tell the story before I even started capturing frames. The first SpareBit Sprite!
